Abstract

As acute blow of COVID-19 is over, new challenges are coming up to us - post pandemic long term consequences - both direct and indirect. Depression and obesity are already closely related with each other from both biological and psychosocial point of views. In this post-COVID era the two are increasingly getting relevant and are indeed a threat to our wellbeing. In this review we discuss ‘depreobesity’, a new cognomen referring to these phenomena and how we can mitigate this.
